I’m not the only one thinking The Pope Situation could be reality TV/internet magic, right?

It would fire up their donor & volunteer base, and create an awesome platform for outreach and education. And that’s The Goal, or a big one anyway.

But instead production is being outsourced to cable news by default, and their message distorted by the lens of pop culture.

Unless, of course, that’s what it actually is.
