Skribit: Social Topic Suggestions

·
LifeTechnology

If you look at the sidebar on this website, you’ll see I’ve added a section for topic suggestions. I’m using a new widget called Skribit that lets you not only submit ideas to this blog but vote on other people’s suggestions as well. Ideas can be as general as “more music” like has already been suggested, or as specific as you want – I’m always game for pretending I know something about expansion and scale or the geometric symmetry of the circle of fifths, give me your best shot.

Moreover, I’m proud to be one of the founders of Skribit, which I built with a number of other people about a month ago at Startup Weekend Atlanta, playing the role of designer. Props to Jared England for, among other things, his sweet logo design & artwork.

Skribit launched into private beta last night. There’s still a ton of improvements to be made, but we’ve gotten to a point where it’s safe to start letting people play around. Give it a try if you like, I’m really excited to see how it works for this site. And drop me a line if you’d like one for your own blog, for the time being I can hook you up with beta access.
